A. Franklin offers a variety of ways for you to reach your sales representative depending on how oriented you are to automated telephone systems. 

You can:

Call our main number and dial your sales representative's extension.

If you do not know their extension, you can access our company directory by pressing "3" and entering any part of their first or last name.

If you are unsure of who your sales representative is, you can press "5" for the Sales Department and then press "1" for our Industrial Sales Group or "2" for our Construction Sales Group.

Do you prefer a more direct route?

Ask your sales representative for their direct line so you can by-pass the automated attendant.

Do you dislike automated phone systems?

You can always press "0" to speak to a operator.

and your call will be answered by live operator.

A. Our normal hours of operation are:

Office- 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Warehouse Day Shift-
6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
Warehouse Night Shift-
10:00 PM to 7:30 AM Monday through Thursday.

With our 24 Hour Customer Service, however, we are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Just call us and press "5" for customer service.

A. Our payment terms are printed on our invoices.

Terms may vary by the type of material purchased, but typically all invoices are due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. If there is a cash discount available, it will be indicated on the invoice along with the date the invoice must be paid by in order to be eligible for the payment discount.

A. Our policy regarding returns:

If the return is due to our mistake, the manufacturer's mistake, or the material is defective-
you may return the material to us for a full and immediate credit. We only ask two things:

  1. That you obtain a return authorization from us ahead of time to help facilitate the handling of the return.

  2. That you return the material within thirty (30) days of original receipt.

If the return is due to any other reasons- you may return the material IF:

  1. It is a normal stock item for us and is in good resalable condition. Under these circumstances we will issue full and immediate credit upon receipt and inspection of the material.

  2. Or, the manufacturer is willing to take the material back from us for credit. Under these conditions we will issue credit only when we receive credit from the manufacturer, and we will reflect any restocking and handling charges that may apply.

Again, we request that all returns be authorized by us ahead of time, and that they be made within thirty days of the original receipt.

A. Our policy regarding cutting wire:

We will custom cut wire to your specifications and the first cut is always free. 

Additional cuts and any paralleling that needs to be done will be charged for. Consult your sales representative for a schedule of cutting charges.

We also reserve the right to decline to cut a length that would result in our being left with an un-saleable piece.
